Declined speedy[edit]

I've declined the IP's speedy since it doesn't really fall within speedy criteria, as that's usually for things that are uncontroversial or very simple - this looks like it'd be fairly complicated to discuss. I'm re-adding this comment, as it was deliberately deleted by the IP in what appears to be an attempt to make it appear like no admin decision was made. This is not how you go about seeking deletion and you cannot repeatedly add speedy tags until you get the desired result. Since there have been attempts to either re-add speedy templates or redirect this to another page within a short period of time, I've protected this for the next three hours. Talk it out here on the talk page as to what actions should be done before making any big moves towards deletion or redirection, given that there are arguments that the list is valid and should remain. Contested deletion[edit]

Generally that is not a great rationale for removing a list with a defined content. They *can* be listed at notable romani people (and probably should be) but that does not invalidate a list of specifically notable romani americans.
