Hi, I'm Queen of Hearts (she/they), a Wikipedian.[citation needed] Right now, I'm focused on getting list of commissioners of the Baltimore Police Department to a good topic (very long term) and tackling backlogs at proposed article mergers, categories for discussion, and redirects for discussion. I am a member of WikiProjects AI Cleanup, Disambiguation, Law Enforcement, Maryland, Redirect, and Short descriptions. I began my wikicareer on March 2, 2022Fell Exhibition Slate Mine, a mine in Germany. I initially performed minor newcomer task copyedits until I discovered the recent changes section. I got involved in anti-vandalism, being granted the rollbacker and pending changes reviewer rights. . My first edit was toIn meatspace, I am proudly a transgender woman and pansexual. I live in Maryland, where I have lived my entire life. I am a native speaker of English y tengo un conocimiento intermedio de español. Latest tech news from the Wikimedia technical community. Please tell other users about these changes. Not all changes will affect you. Translations are available.
Recent changes
- Starting this week, newcomers editing Wikipedia will be encouraged to try structured tasks. Structured tasks have been shown to improve newcomer activation and retention. [1]
- You can nominate your favorite tools for the fifth edition of the Coolest Tool Award. Nominations will be open until May 10.
Changes later this week
- The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 23 April. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 24 April. It will be on all wikis from 25 April (calendar). [2][3]
Future changes
- This is the last warning that by the end of May 2024 the Vector 2022 skin will no longer share site and user scripts/styles with old Vector. For user-scripts that you want to keep using on Vector 2022, copy the contents of Special:MyPage/vector.js to Special:MyPage/vector-2022.js. There are more technical details available. Interface administrators who foresee this leading to lots of technical support questions may wish to send a mass message to your community, as was done on French Wikipedia. [4]

Namelist pages[edit]
Hi Queen of Hearts :)
I'm currently thinking about namelist pages, and about whether they're thought of more as disambiguation pages or as stand-alone lists - in particular, for the purposes of rcat tagging (e.g. whether a redirect from Fred (surname) to Fred (name) would be an {{R from unnecessary disambiguation}} or an {{R from incomplete disambiguation}}; whether a redirect from Ffransis (disambiguation) to Ffransis would be an {{R from unnecessary disambiguation}} or an {{R to disambiguation page}}; etc). Looking through my contribs to see how I'd previously used rcats for these sorts of situations myself, I noticed that in February, you added {{R to disambiguation page}} to a redirect I'd created via JWB (Vilhelmsen (disambiguation)); so I was curious to know what your thoughts/understandings were on the subject.
All the best (and thank you for the kitten you gave me last month ❤️), —a smart kitten[meow] 10:34, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hello @A smart kitten, nice to see you around. I did that JWB job off of a Quarry query which checks for untagged redirects from "Foo (disambiguation)" to "Foo". I didn't realize the target was a surname list. I figured {{R to disambiguation page}} would say something about pages that serve a disambiguation-like purpose, but nope. IMO, redirects like this should be tagged to disambiguation, but I'd ask at Template talk:R to disambiguation page. Queen of ♡ | speak 19:16, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

{{subst:currentuser}} has given you a McDonald's Filet-O-Fish sandwich! Filet-O-Fish sandwiches are very popular during Lent and promote WikiLove. Hopefully, this one has added flavor to your day! Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a Filet-O-Fish sandwich, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend.
Spread the fishy, gooey goodness of Filet-O-Fish sandwiches by adding {{subst:Filet-O-Fish}} to someone's talk page with a friendly message!

CFD closure[edit]
Hello, I'm on my phone right now so I can't cut and paste links but I was looking at a CFD discussion you closed yesterday about an Anti-mainlander Hong Kong" category. You closed it as Merge but several target categories were mentioned and it wasn't clear what you wanted this category to be Merged to. Liz Read! Talk! 00:48, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- Will respond @ Wikipedia talk:Categories for discussion/Working#NAC requests 22–30 April 2024, where this was already asked. Queen of ♡ | speak 19:59, 26 April 2024 (UTC)

CfD closure[edit]
Happy birthday indeed! Could you please reconsider your closure of Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2024_April_16#Category:Anti-Zionist_Christians and Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2024_April_16#Category:Christian_anti-Zionism? I think the opposing argument has sufficiently been refuted. Marcocapelle (talk) 05:23, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, @Marcocapelle. I don't have much time to look because of the birthday thing, so I'll revert my closes and allow someone else to evaluate it. Queen of ♡ | speak 19:53, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
