John Lee (født 28. juni 1952 i Boston , Massachusetts , USA) er en amerikansk bassist , Grammy-vindende pladeproducent og lydtekniker .

Liv og karriere

John Gregory Lee er søn af en afrikansk Methodist Episcopal (AME) minister, pastor John W. Lee, og Harriet Holland Lee, som var en karriere socialrådgiver. Han voksede op i Greenwich, Connecticut, Amityville, New York og Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. John begyndte String Bass-lektioner i 1962 med Carolyn Lush.
